Thursday May 1st: Free Picks and Analysis

For those who followed last week, sorry my plays didn't make a profit. Dallas easily covered their spread, but Miami let the Bobcats stick around all game resulting in only a 4 point win.
Don't worry though, I have two more games tonight that will easily cover the spread and win us some cash.

YTD Record: (1-1)

Oklahoma City Thunder -2.5 vs. Memphis Grizzlies.

The Thunder are on the brink of elimination after losing their last game in a controversial fashion. There are also rumors that Scott Brooks, head coach of the Thunder, will be fired if they are eliminated tonight. That's a lot of pressure for any team to handle, especially playing on the road in Memphis. Despite all of that, I'm rolling with the Thunder tonight. Kevin Durant is the front runner for this years MVP and he wont let his team get eliminated that easy. All three of the games that the Grizzlies have won have been decided in overtime. The Thunder could have easily won any one of them if they were more consistent and made better plays. Tonight we should see a very focused Thunder team led by Durant and Westbrook. I like OKC to win by 5 or 6 points tonight.
The Pick: OKC-2.5

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors Over 209.5.

This series has been one of the most fun series to watch in the first round. All of the late night west coast games seem to be shootouts. I don't expect anything different tonight. Both teams are loaded with scorers and 3 point specialists. Look for each team to score in the hundred and soar way over tonight's total of 209.5. My prediction is a 115-111 win by the Warriors on their home court. I don't have enough confidence in either team to win, but i do know that this will be a high scoring game.
The Pick: LAC/GSW Over 209.5
